Trip 609: Wet Hiking in Reshmaya River


In this very hot weather, join the Footprints Nature Club this Sunday 28 July 2024 for a special hiking trip that will really get you wet. The trip will be: 
 
Wet Hiking in Reshmaya River
 
We will be walking inside the river and end up on a normal hiking trail to reach the bus.
 
The hike is of an Easy to Medium Level (6/10). It shall take around 3 to 4 hours with around 4 to 5 KMs. The water level varies between 20 to 50 cms.
 
This kind of trips requires you to really get wet. Thus make sure you have extra pair of shoes and extra clothes with you when you join us on this trip.
 
No need to know how to swim on this trip. But for those who like, we will enjoy swimming in a very beautiful natural pool at the end of the trip.

مشي في مياه نهر رشميا
 
رحلتنا ستكون كلها مشي في مياه النهر. لذا يجب معرفة ان الجميع سيتبلل من رأسه الى رجليه. لا حاجة للسباحة في هذه الرحلة لأن مستوى المياه سيكون ما بين 20 الى 50 سم.
 
ولمن يحب، سنتمتع بالسباحة في بركة طبيعية رائعة في نهاية الرحلة.
 
مستوى الرحلة هو سهل الى متوسط (4 الى 5 كلم، 3 الى 4 ساعات).

Must Have

You will get wet from your head to your toes, so make sure to get extra clothes to wear when you get out of the water.

You should get the following to go into the water:

  • Pants or long shorts (avoid short ones to prevent scratches)
  • T-Shirts (avoid i-shirts to prevent scratches)
  • Old Shoes or water sandals or footies

Your personal insurance.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 20 L.L., includes:

The trip's fees will be 20$, covering:
  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 28 Jul, 2024 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
 We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 28 Jul, 2024 at 04:00 PM.

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
