Our adventure kicks off at the Jbaa entrance of this remarkable reserve, where we'll quench our thirst with the refreshing waters of "Ain el Chaachouaa" near the gateway.
Prepare for a captivating ascent along a picturesque footpath that unfolds before us, treating our senses to breathtaking vistas of Niha. When we finally reach the summit, the effort invested in our climb will be richly rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of Qaraoun Lake and the majestic Mount Hermon.
As we traverse a plateau, veer right, and you'll discover a mesmerizing viewpoint, offering an unparalleled spectacle of the grandeur of Mount Hermon. After indulging in a well-deserved lunch amidst this natural beauty, we'll begin our descent, following a serene forest trail.
Our trail is full of the Zaarour natural fruits that we will enjoy picking and eating all the way.
This hike is rated as a Medium Level challenge (7/10) and spans approximately 11.5 kilometers.

🏞️ استكشفوا روعة محمية الشوف المحيط الحيوي – الأحد 4 تشرين الأول 2026
ندعوكم للانضمام إلينا الأحد، 4 تشرين الأول 2026، في مغامرة لا تُنسى داخل أكبر وأروع محمية طبيعية في لبنان – محمية الشوف المحيط الحيوي.
تبدأ رحلتنا من مدخل جباع، حيث نأخذ لحظة للانتعاش من نبع عين الشاشوعة، قبل الانطلاق على درب جبلي ساحر يكشف تدريجياً عن مناظر بانورامية خلّابة.
أثناء الصعود، سنستمتع بإطلالات رائعة على بلدة نيحا، إلى أن نصل إلى القمة حيث سنكافأ بمشهد لا مثيل له على بحيرة القرعون وجبل حرمون الشامخ. ومن هناك، نكمل السير عبر الهضبة نحو نقطة مشهد مذهلة تمنحنا لحظة تأمل وصور تخلّد هذه اللحظة.
الدرب مليء بشجر الزعرور التي سنستمتع بقطافها وأكلها.
بعد استراحة غداء في قلب الطبيعة، نبدأ النزول عبر ممر هادئ في الغابة.
