Trip 650: Hiking in the Cedars Forest of Karm El-Moher


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you on Sunday 21 September 2025, to a hiking trip in a splendid hidden nature in the Donniyeh Region, which will be:

Hiking in the Cedars Forest of Karm El-Moher in Donniyeh

The trip will be of a Medium level (7/10 with around 13 KMs). We will start our walk from Sawaki Mezyara at 1650 meters, heading towards two natural springs (probably dry in this season). We will continue our walk down towards the splendid Cedars Forest of Karm El-Moher. The walk will end, after passing in another two natural springs, in the beautiful region of Sahlet El-Re3yan.

Don't forget your cameras in order not to miss the amazing views that we will have on the trail...

مشي في الطبيعة في غابة أرز كرم المهر في الضنية

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى متوسط وبمسافة حوالي 13 كلم.

رحلتنا ستبدأ من منطقة سواقي مزيارة على ارتفاع 1650 م بإتجاه نبع فرنسا ونبع الزواريب. نكمل الرحلة نزولاً إلى غابة أرز كرم المهر. سنمر في طريقنا داخل الغابة على عين الكحيلات ونبع الفوار، قبل أن ننهي المسير في منطقة سهلة الرعيان.

Cost Fees

Cost fees are 25$, covering:
  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Cost of the local guide

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 21 Sep, 2025 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 21 Sep, 2025 at 06:00 PM.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
