Trip 368: Hiking from Jezzine to Room


An amazing trip on an amazing trail in the South, will take us this Sunday 26 February 2017 with the Footprints Nature Club to enjoy amazing and splendid sceneries while:

Hiking from Jezzine to Room - South

We will start from one of  Lebanon's most beautiful villages: Jezzine. We will start an uphill to reach the top of the mountain overlooking Jezzine and all the surroundings. When we reach the top, the trail will lead us down to the villa of Haitoura, and then to Deir Qettine. This will be the end of the first level. The trail continues for the hard level down to the valley to reach the river of Birket El-Zarka, before starting a steep ascent to reach the beautiful small village of Room where we will meet the buses. As usual, we will enjoy amazing sceneries all over the trail during our walk in this new region.

The hike will be of two levels:

  1. An Easy to Medium Level (6 to 7/10 – 8 KMs – 4 hrs)
  2. Medium to Hard Level (7 to 8/10 - 12 KMs - 5 hrs)

Note that if it is raining, we don't usually cancel our trip, instead, we take our raining gear to enjoy our walk under the rain.

 

رحلة رائعة ستكون هذا الأحد 26 شباط 2017 ستأخذنا الى منطقة الجنوب مع درب جبلي في

مشي من جزين الى روم - الجنوب

رحلتنا ستبدأ من مدينة جزين الرائعة صعوداً الى قمة الجبل المطل على جزين والجوار. نكمل طريقنا نزولاً الى بلدة حيطورة ثم الى دير قطين لننهي المستوى الأول. نكمل مع المستوى الثاني بعد الوصول الى قاع الوادي، لننتهي صعوداً الى بلدة روم.

الرحلة ستكون من مستويان:

  1. مستوى سهل إلى متوسط (حوالي 8 كلم ووقت حوالي 4 ساعات)
  2. مستوى متوسط إلى صعب (حوالي 12 كلم ووقت حوالي 5 ساعات)

ملاحظة: في حال كان الطقس ماطراً، فإننا لا نلغي الرحلة بل نتجهز بما يلزم لنستمتع بالمشي تحت المطر.

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
