Trip 414: Hiking from Maaser Shouf to Wadi Batloun


A very beautiful hiking trail in the Shouf region will be our destination this Sunday 04 February 2018 with the Footprints Nature Club. The trail is considered part of the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, taking us from:

Most of the trail will be on the sides of the amazing valleys of Shouf thus exposing us to splendid sceneries. On our way, we will pass through Wadi Al-Mayl, Botne, Fourmaya, before ending in Wadi Batloun. We will pass in our trail by a small cave, and we will have our lunch break in a special nice place.
 
This trail will be of an Easy to Medium level (6 to 7/10) with some difficulties. It will be around 11 KMs. It shall take around 5 hours.
 
Note that we don’t cancel our trip if the weather is raining. Just get your waterproof stuff and come to enjoy walking under the rain.

رحلتنا لهذا الأحد في 04 شباط 2018 ستأخذنا الى منطقة رائعة في قضاء الشوف حيث سنتمتع بالسير على احد دروب محمية أرز الشوف الذي سيأخذنا من:
 
 مشي في الطبيعة من معاصر الشوف إلى وادي بتلون
 
رحلتنا ستبدأ من ساحة بلدة معاصر الشوف، مروراً بوادي الميل، بطنة، فورمايا، وانتهاءاً بوادي بتلون حيث سنتمتع بالمناظر الخلابة لأودية الشوف الرائعة.
 
المستوى العام للرحلة هو سهل إلى متوسط مع بعض الصعوبة، المسافة 11.5 كلم، بوقت حوالي الخمس ساعات.
 
ملاحظة اننا لا نلغي رحلاتنا عادة اذا كان الطقس ماطراً. كل ما علينا فعله هو اخذ ملابس واحذية خاصة للاستمتاع بالمشي تحت المطر.
